announces July release of Time Just Drifts Away
Celebrating the In My Backpack web site
Connecticut
(July 2012) – Writer and photographer Bob Hocking is pleased to
announce the release of his new book, Time Just Drifts Away.
A collection of observations and interviews from his noted web
site, In My Backpack, it will be available in print as
of July 9, 2012, with an electronic release to follow.
Time
Just Drifts Away focuses on the time period running from
March of 2003 until March of 2012 at In My Backpack.
Interview participants include Tom Collicchio, Suzi Quatro, Rick
Price, Mark Patinkin and Jimmy Haslip.
Using
a keen eye for detail, a smooth writing style, and a tone reminiscent
of Robert Fulghem, Bob travels with the reader at a comfortable
pace and with a friendly perspective through his thoughts on topics
such as: best wishes for a “Merry Christmas”… the chipmunks living
in the stone wall… making the most of two minutes… perfect glasses
of lemonade… and being world famous.
