Hocking
releasing a new title, Suspiciously Picturesque
New
York (August 2023) – Author Bob Hocking is excited to announce
the release of his fourteenth book, Suspiciously Picturesque.
A collection assembled to celebrate the nineteenth anniversary
of his website, the effort will be available in print and Kindle
editions on February 28, 2023.
Suspiciously
Picturesque features seventy-one essays, drawn primarily
from material originally posted between March of 2003 and March
of 2022. Six essays have been created exclusively for the book.
Bob
is preparing a busy schedule for 2023. There are several projects
that are moving toward publication. In addition, appearance dates
are being finalized for readings, signings, author events, and
several presentations of his well-received writer’s workshop (You
may never get published (Horror stories and thoughts to help you
try anyway)). Details and event information will be shared
on his website when available.
A
graduate of Syracuse University, Bob was born and raised in Rhode
Island, while spending many years in Connecticut. He currently
lives in upstate New York.

initial release will be a paperback edition running approximately
261 pages with an e-book available on the same date.
